UPDATE - 9:15 am: Riverland Road closed from SW 13 Court to SW 14 Street:

Fort Lauderdale - City of Fort Lauderdale utility crews continue to work to repair a water main break at the intersection of Riverland Road and S.W. 14th Street.

Riverland Road is closed in both directions between SW 13 Court and SW 14 Street.

Motorists are being detoured around the area via SW 15th Street (to the south) and SW 13th Court (to the north).

While repairs are being made, customers in the vicinity of Riverland Road and SW 14 Street may experience temporary service interruptions.

Fort Lauderdale - A water main break at the intersection of Riverland Road and S.W. 14th Street is delaying traffic in the area.

City of Fort Lauderdale crews are on site working to repair the break and will remain on scene until the water main is fixed.

Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes to avoid the area.
