Fort Lauderdale - The City of Fort Lauderdale, in consultation with the Broward County Health Department, has lifted the precautionary health advisory for inland recreational waters within the following boundaries in northeast Fort Lauderdale:

  • Northern boundary: N.E. 30th Street
  • Eastern boundary: West side of the Intracoastal Waterway
  • Southern boundary: N.E. 22nd Street
  • Western boundary: Bayview Drive

Test results indicate that the water within these boundaries is clear for fishing, swimming, jet skiing, and other water-related activities.

The precautionary health advisory was issued Monday, January 16th as a result of a leaking sewer line.
