City of Fort Lauderdale Traffic Advisory for the Great American Beach Party

Fort Lauderdale – The City of Fort Lauderdale would like to remind residents and visitors that the Great American Beach Party is scheduled for Saturday, May 28 from 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Fort Lauderdale Beach. Residents and visitors should be advised of the following traffic advisory affecting the surrounding area:

· A1A will be closed from Las Olas Boulevard north to Castillo Street from 7 a.m. on Saturday, May 28 to 1 a.m. on Sunday, May 29.

· Traffic that is traveling north on A1A will be diverted west onto Las Olas Boulevard, north on Birch Road, east on Bayshore Drive and then back north onto A1A.

· Please note that Alhambra Street, Seville Street and Granada Street will be open to local traffic only.
