Parking Lot at Fort Lauderdale Beach Park to Close for Construction April 25 to May 6

Fort Lauderdale - The City of Fort Lauderdale will temporarily close the parking lot at Fort Lauderdale Beach Park at 1100 Seabreeze Boulevard for two weeks beginning April 25. The construction of the new parking lot is part of a one-year project that will include improved access, ADA enhancements and beautification of the parking area.
During the two-week closure, contractors for the City will place utilities under ground.
Signs will be posted to alert motorists of the parking lot closure and convenient barrier island parking alternatives that include the following:
- "E Lot" on East Las Olas Circle (Located below the Las Olas Boulevard bridge, adjacent to the Las Olas Marina)
- "Oceanside Lot" at 400 Seabreeze Boulevard (A1A & E Las Olas Boulevard)
- "R Lot" at 3031 Sebastian Street (A1A at Sebastian Street)
- "U Lot" at SE 5 Street & A1A (Adjacent to Alexander Park, across from the Swimming Hall of Fame)
Street parking is also available at several locations.
