A1A Northbound and Southbound Lanes Blocked in the Vicinity of Harbor Drive

Traffic is being redirected as a result of downed power lines

UPDATE: Power lines have been secured and both northbound and southbound lanes of A1A at 1015 Seabreeze Boulevard (Fort Lauderdale Beach Park) re-opened at 6:50 p.m., March 14.

Fort Lauderdale - Both northbound and southbound lanes of A1A are currently blocked at 1015 Seabreeze Boulevard (Fort Lauderdale Beach Park).

The lanes will remain impassable until FPL can remove power lines, which fell as a result of a construction accident.

Motorists will experience heavy traffic and congestion along A1A and are advised to seek alternate routes to avoid delays.
