Join the Fort Lauderdale St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Fort Lauderdale – Join in the pageantry and excitement as the Fort Lauderdale St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival returns on March 12, 2011! The parade will take place along Las Olas Boulevard, from S.E. 8th Avenue to Andrews Avenue, from noon to 1:30 p.m.

Claim your spot now to participate in the parade by decorating a float, car or truck, or marching with your neighbors. Last year’s parade was a huge success featuring more than 100 entries including marching bands, pipe and drum bands, street performers, classic automobiles, and floats of all shapes and sizes!

Parade applications are due Friday, February 11. Participation in the parade is only $50. There is no charge for schools, military or government organizations. Everyone is encouraged to join us for this exciting, historical celebration. Parade prizes will be awarded in the following categories:

PARADE PRIZES
Best Marching Band - $500
Best Pipe Band - $500
Best Commercial Float - $500
Best School Participation - $300
Best Neighborhood Participation - $300
Best Non-Profit Participation - $500
Grand Prize - Best Overall - $750
