Fort Lauderdale - The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show is set for Thursday, Oct. 29 through Sunday, Nov. 1, with breakdown on Monday, Nov. 2. Residents and businesses are advised of the following:

Traffic

From 8:30am through 9:00pm, Southeast 5th Street will be closed between A1A and Seabreeze Boulevard through the duration of the show. The street will be open to taxi, bus and limousine services.

The turn lane from westbound SE 17th Street onto southbound Eisenhower Boulevard will also be closed. The lane will be open to taxi, bus and limousine services.

For traffic calming purposes, the turnaround at Seabreeze Boulevard and A1A, adjacent to the Oasis Restaurant, will be closed to allow for ease of traffic flow.

Motorists are advised that a high volume of traffic is expected on the 17th Street Causeway, A1A, Seabreeze Boulevard and Las Olas Boulevard.

Parking

Boat Show organizers purchased all spaces in the Fort Lauderdale Beach Park Parking Lot and most spaces in the E-Lot located adjacent to the Las Olas Marina on Wednesday, Oct. 28 through Monday, Nov. 2.

Boat show guests are encouraged to use the “Park N Ride” shuttle service available at Holiday Park, 1300 East Sunrise Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale. Parking is $6 for all day; shuttle service is free.
