S.W. 11th Avenue Swing Bridge Temporary Closure

Fort Lauderdale - The S.W. 11th Avenue Swing Bridge will be closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 7, 2009.

The temporary closure is necessary to make minor repairs to the bridge. If further repairs are needed, the City will issue an update.

Marine traffic will not be affected by the closure.

Signage is posted in the area to alert motorists of the bridge closure. While the bridge is closed, vehicular traffic will be detoured to S.W. 7th / S.W. 4th Avenue. Motorists may also access the neighborhoods adjacent to the bridge via Broward Boulevard at S.W. 18th Avenue or Davie Boulevard at S.W. 15th Avenue.
