Fort Lauderdale – The City of Fort Lauderdale Community Redevelopment Agency in conjunction wit the Midtown Business Association is lighting up Sistrunk Boulevard Thursday, December 18, 2008 at 5:30 pm.

Join residents and area businesses for fun, food and holiday spirit. Hear songs of the season from local school choirs and ensembles. Meet your local and state representatives as they assist with the lighting of Sistrunk.

Come and see what is going on, on Sistrunk Boulevard. New buildings and great facades are just some of the things you will see. Don’t miss your chance to celebrate the season with the City of Fort Lauderdale and the Midtown Business Association with this year’s Light Up Sistrunk – guaranteed to be bigger and better than ever!

Traffic Advisory: Sistrunk Boulevard will be closed from NW 9th Avenue to NW 10th Avenue from 4:30 pm until 7:30 pm. Traffic will be detoured around this one block area.
