Broward County Health Department Issues Advisory Against Use of Recreational Waters in Areas Near Northeast Fort Lauderdale

Fort Lauderdale - Broward County Health Department officials are advising the public of sewage contamination in recreational waters in the following area in Fort Lauderdale (see map PDF File):

  • North of N.E. 29th Street
  • South of N.E. 30th Street
  • East of Bayview Drive
  • West of the Intracoastal Waterway

People should avoid use of this area’s recreational waters for fishing, swimming or jet skiing.

This advisory is effective immediately and continues until further notice.
