Bank of America Starlight Musicals Celebrates Its 30th Anniversary!

Fort Lauderdale - The 30th Annual Bank of America Starlight Musicals Concert Series kicks off on June 13 at Holiday Park. The free outdoor summer concert series, which celebrates its 30th Anniversary this year, is presented by the City of Fort Lauderdale every Friday from June 13 through August 8, 2008, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Residents and visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, picnic baskets, family and friends to the park for live entertainment under the stars. The shows take place on the football fields in Holiday Park, located at East Sunrise Boulevard and Federal Highway. Free parking is available on site.

The Starlight Musicals will feature an exciting lineup of bands ranging from rhythm and blues to tropical rock. This year’s line up will include:

As an added bonus, each week the City of Fort Lauderdale Parks and Recreation Department will select a theme and hold a contest for the best decorated seating area and this year 30th Anniversary T-Shirts will be available for purchase at the event.
