City of Fort Lauderdale Presents Bank of America Starlight Musicals

Celebrate Summer with Family and Friends at this Fabulous Concert Series!

Fort Lauderdale - The 29th Annual Bank of America Starlight Musicals Concert Series will kick off on June 15 at Holiday Park.  The free outdoor summer concert series will be presented by the City of Fort Lauderdale every Friday from June 15 through August 3rd, 2007, from 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. 

Residents and visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, picnic baskets, family and friends to the park for live entertainment under the stars.  The shows take place on the football fields in Holiday Park, located at East Sunrise Boulevard and Federal Highway. Free parking is available on site. 

The Starlight Musicals will feature an exciting lineup of bands ranging from rhythm and blues to tropical rock, this year’s line up will include South Florida’s R&B Queen Valerie Tyson, the Joey Gilmore Band and the 50’s and 60s sounds of the Fabulons and so much more!

As an added bonus, each week the City of Fort Lauderdale Parks and Recreation Department will select a theme and hold a contest for the best decorated seating area.
