Information Regarding Street Closures in the City of Fort Lauderdale
>> The SW 11th Avenue Swing Bridge is scheduled to re-open to vehicular and pedestrian traffic on August 1, 2010. See press release.
>> The intersection of Sistrunk Blvd (NW 6 Street) and NW 22nd Avenue is closed while crews repair a sinking manhole.
The repairs are expected to take approximately 48 hours and the road is expected to reopen on Friday, July 30, 2010. (Read press release)
>> I-95 will have three lanes closed IN EACH DIRECTION in various
locations between the bridge over the New River and Broward Boulevard
overnight from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday night, Aug. 1, through
Thursday night, Aug. 5.
>> The 17th Street Causeway Bridge over the Intracoastal Waterway in
southeast Fort Lauderdale will have one lane closed from 9 a.m. to
3:30 p.m. EASTBOUND Monday, Aug. 2, and Tuesday, Aug. 3, and
WESTBOUND Wednesday, Aug. 4, and Thursday, Aug. 5.
>> The Sunrise Boulevard Bridge over the Intracoastal Waterway in Fort
Lauderdale has two WESTBOUND lanes closed and one EASTBOUND
lane closed at all times until late August.
